Medical Transportation
TFNHWC provides medical transportation services according to the FNIHB Medical Transportation Policy Framework.

 To assist clients in accessing medically necessary insured and non-insured health services that cannot be obtained within the community.

The following types of transportation services are provided:

• Medical Transportation

• Supervised Pharmacy Treatments

• TFNHWC Vehicles

• Employees Using Personal Vehicles for TFNHWC Business

 

Medical Transportation Program benefits enable clients to access the following types of services:

• Provincial insured medical services (ex.: doctors’ appointments, hospital care, diagnostic tests)

• Alcohol, solvent, drug abuse and detoxification treatment

• Transportation to traditional healers

• Health benefits (dental, vision and crisis intervention mental health counseling, etc.) available and approved under the FNIHB Program

• Supervised pharmacy treatments
