September is Hand Hygiene Month here at the TFNHWC,
all staff review the Hand Hygiene Policy and participate in a Hand Hygiene Audit.
Hand hygiene is the most important and effective infection prevention and control measure to prevent the spread of microorganisms causing HAIs (Health Care-Associated Infection). Despite this, compliance with hand hygiene protocols by health care providers continues to be challenging Canada wide.
